Post 10: English Language Challenges

Hello friends, this post will be about my reflections, thoughts and final conclusions about my experience in the English courses of the university.
The truth is that the English courses of the university remind me of those I had in high school (or what I remember of them, taking into account that I left high school for quite some time), that is, not very profitable. Not because of the teachers, in fact I think I had very good teachers, but rather because of the structure they had to follow that made things more tedious and did not motivate much.
I learned more theoretical things about the language and that is appreciated. But I feel that, at least in my case, I learn more the language with everyday things like watching movies or listening to music in English.
About blogs, I find that be entertained and we learn to write in English, but neither is it to be done all the time, I think other activities could be done as well.
What I need to improve in my English proficiency is to speak and listen. Writing and reading is not difficult for me.
English is not a language that I like very much and for that reason I do not have as much motivation to learn, but I know it is useful for many things. So, I plan to use it more in everyday life to improve.
Lately I use English to read some texts for a subject of the university, to listen / sing songs in this language and when I watch a movie or video and the audio is in English. I do not use English in many things. I hope to use it in more things in everyday life.
